Sometimes I wish I could have a look see into my future to see what's installed for me so I know what's the next step I should take.

And here's an entry from a girl who is still unsure about her future and what to do next after her graduation.

Been abandoning this little space of mine.
So what's been happening recently ay?

Finished my Semester 4 and am doing my internship in XIE Design, located in Jones Road.
Been enjoying my work there so far... giving me a glimpse of life would be after I graduate.. and mastering 3ds Max more..

Been... abandoning my photography lately =( Which is a sad thing..
With bad things happening for the past weeks and all.. but let's just hope things will take a turn and change for the better? =)

Lol I seriously lost touch with blogging.. but anyways, here's something for you to look at =)

Okay. Ciao. =)

It was really a close shave and we wouldn't have survived without any injury if not for Him.

And praises to Him for making my dad come to realization.

=)

PRAISES TO YOU.

=/

meh.

So when is this cycle going to end?

When I finally gain the courage to do something about it.

And food wins again this round!

=(

Say bye bye to the "Diet" Lynn.
=s

and rain wasn't falling! (pun intended)

So I was invited a shoot last... Sunday to shoot this pretty girl, Nana.

We went around Tg Bungah area looking for a nice place and spotted a really cute car.

How often can you find a cute little bettle that still functions? =D
Had a lil chat with the owner of the car who says it's very sentimental to them..

Shortly after that, an uncle who lives just right opposite approached us if we were interested to shoot a vintage S90 bike and we didn't hesitate any further.

Had another mini chat with the owner of the bike, talking about his past. Previously a teacher in Penang Free and a school in Tg Bungah, he loves collecting antiques.

Then we went on shooting for the rest of the morning. =)

and this Sunday?

I'm stuck at home doing assignments for my finals next week. =.=

ANYWAYS,
To view the entire album in high quality,
head on to www.eelynn.smugmug.com

Hope that there will be more awesome albums to come! =)

There's only so much I can take in sometimes.
I'm only human and I am weak.

Lord, please,
Help me.

I don't have anyone to turn to right now.
All I have is You.

After all the hard work of waking up as early as 5.45 a.m. for 2 days in a row,
After braving the fishy smell,
After braving myself to take to the fishermen who turned out to be very friendly,
After driving all the way up to Teluk Bahang for 2 days in the row.
And thanks to friends who accompanied me,

IT'S FINALLY OUT! =D

Do support.. Penang Economic Monthly's May Issue. =)

=)

Added another change today!
=D

It really does.

And we did not argue today. At all.
Amazing. =)

Dinner was korean food in Korea Palace... we ate like there was no tomorrow and was too full.
Decided to take photos and have a walk in Straits Quay with the family to feel less bloated.
We ended up in Delicious, a nice cafe in Straits Quay for desserts.

So much for dieting.
Meh. =.=

One problem thing about me and photography and me is that I'm not technical.
Is that good or is that bad?

I know the basics of photography but not how a camera works or when it comes too much into detail about this and that.
I tend to experiment more, or go with the flow, and ask around when it comes to taking photos.

Was talking to a fellow photographer of mine, who is VERY VERY technical when it comes to photography.
Ask him anything about camera and he can dump a whole load of confusing camera terms. (lol)
Anyways, we were wondering if it was a good or a bad thing when it comes to being technical when you're shooting.
We both came to a conclusion that it is useful to a certain point where it's needed to get a good clear shot etc etc...

Then I talked to the oh-so-talented. Mr. Alan Lee.
His simple answer?

Alan Lee says:
i think
as long as the end results speaks volume about ur work
then u shouldnt worry too much abt it

So people, let thy not worry too much about it and just enjoy what you're shooting. =)
When you're too technical about certain thing, you might miss a moment.
So just shoot! =D

End of a short ramble. =p

Time passes by fast.
Really fast.

Things come and go,
nothing is ever constant.

Nothing beats chilling in the balcony, with a lollipop in hand, to reflect on certain things sometimes. =)

So my previous post was about my new baby, the 35mm f2.
=D

Loving it because I can now have a wider view and a sharper focus as compared to my 50mm on a cropped camera which isn't very nice sometimes due to it's plastic body and it isn't wide enough due to the cropping thingy blah blah blah in the camera.

So yeah.. shall let the photos I took of Amantha last 2 weeks ago in a shoot invited by the awesome Alan Lee speak for themselves.

Click here to enjoy the photos in better resolution and do leave a comment or a like button! =)

So finally after been wanting NEEDING this for months, prolly a year, I finally managed to get myself a Canon 35mm f2.

=D

Joy joy!

Canon 35mm f2 might not be as good as the *Slurps* 35mm F1.4 which costs more than my camera now, but it'll work just alright =)

Traded in my Canon 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS which I barely use and with the money I saved from red packets this year. =)

Let's hope for more photos up on my smugmug soon aight? =)

Anyone who's interested for a shoot, give me a shout out at ee_lynn90@hotmail.com! =D

Just when I got home, I saw these on the tables.

Baked by my sister and her friends.

CAN YOU SAY ADORABLE???

DOMOKUNCOOKIE MONSTER without COOKIE (yet)

ELMO

All these were baked for the MGS Pesta Ria which will be held this Saturday.
Do support =)

And we both had a good conversation in the kitchen while cleaning up and drinking OJ.
Some sisterly love is good for the soul sometimes =)
Glad that things between her and I are good now ;)

This is what happens when you give your silly lousy best friend an access to update your blog.

=.=

People change, things change as time goes by. And change is often good.

The NEW Ee Lynn. *Everything.. is just better than before.*

The Ee Lynn you used to know.

Isn't the Ee Lynn now.

JOY TO YOU AND ME!

So Gareth and I were gonna go fisherman hunting today. He woke me up at 5.45 a.m. only to see that it was raining heavily outside. =(

So we continued snoozing our handphone alarms until it stopped raining and proceeded to Teluk Bahang at 7 a.m.
We missed the fishermen because of their odd fishing hours that were impossible for us to follow...
Nonetheless, managed to get a few shots, talked to a few cute fishermen who were friendly.
One even had a cute friendly cat named Mickey with pink necklace as a collar. XD

More fishermen hunting tomorrow morning!
*yawns*

And talk about bad luck,
I broke my specs accidentally last month and never got it fixed.
I wore my very last pair of contacts for my left eye for 3 months.
and today, IT DECIDED TO BREAK.
Just when I was gonna go purchase a new set tomorrow.
Now I would have to find a way OR wear specs to take photos and to go college tomorrow.

*sigh*

Another thing,
MY HANDS ARE STILL ITCHING TO SHOP. =(

So I was talking to a very very close friend of mine today, I guess he was right about me reviving my blog and to share my experiences on my passion sometimes.

So if you guys didn't know, I'm sort of doing a part time job in Seri Penang which publishes Penang Economic Monthly.

Never did it cross my mind that I would be doing something along the line of photojournalism, but when my friend, Aimy who was interning over at Seri asked if I was interested, why not?
Extra pocket money doing something I love, how can I say no to that?

So they started off giving me assignments to shoot photos for the articles that they were going to publish. Not only that, I would have to do a bit of research sometimes so that I understand the article better and to deliver better photographers that would suit it.

When the magazine was published with the first set of photos I ever sent to them, I was so excited and so was my family. Never did it come across my mind that I was able to see my photos on print, where people could actually see them, and see my name in really tiny print. But I was still happy! =)

So yeah, here I am, taking photos every month for Penang Economic Monthly, learning more and gaining more experiences in photojournalism. =)

So to the readers of my DEAD blog, go check out PEM and look for my name in fine print alright? =p

Time to keep the post going. Here's a song for a smile! =)
