When you first finished your SPM,
you got all happy.
Excited.
And relieved that it's all over.
So you go out and enjoy to your heart's content.
And when you get tired of all of the outings you've had
You start lazing around at home.
Then while enjoying the fun of not doing anything,
suddenly your mom comes and bugs you about college applications, scholarships and what nots.
So you're forced to apply for a college, scholarship, go for interviews and all, deciding your next step.
Then comes the first day of college.
You think it's gonna be oh-so-exciting.
Starting a new chapter of life.
You enjoy your first few weeks.
You meet new people.
And you start off being all obedient and polite in class.
Then a few weeks later, your cheekiness starts to show.
You skip lessons and go out a lot during breaks.
You play pranks on lecturers.
And you take things easily.
And dread studying.
But soon you realize college is not that fun after all.
You are forced to wake up early.
You are forced to study.
And you have tons of assignments waiting for you to complete.
And you are forced to sit for exams.
And what's college without a little romance?
Some have little crushes on cute guys in college.
Some swoon over the hot ones.
Some even fall in love and end up together.
Some are labelled nerds and does constant studying.
Some play too much and get bad results and are lectured by parents.
They think being in college is easy.
And when exams come, they regret it.
I'm pretty sure everyone expects do the well and graduate with flying colours.
And not end up with bad results and be a beggar.
And now that college is over,
we have to think what our next plan is.
Starting it all over again.
And STILL facing exams.
And I'm pretty sure all of us are dreading to leave our new found friends.
Friends that we have gained and bonded with throughout the year.
Friends whom we go to when we needed someone.
But life's like that.
We gain some friends and we lose some friends through the walk of our life.
We gain experience, we share memories, we learn from mistakes.
Be thankful for the life we are blessed with.
