Yes, I went. =)

SOMEONE don't like me cause I get to go. XD

Alright.. so I went with my parents.. my dad, the music enthusiast. My mom, who's got talents that no one knows.. my sister... THE BRAT.

RM150 was WORTH IT.

We were early.. so we got a nice spot.. though not in the middle.. everytime the band uses the stage on the right, we can't get a clear view cause there will be something blocking.. hence, the photos that I've loaded aren't that all nice.

I ain't got a DSLR. The best I've got is just a 7.1 mp camera. Oh well.. =(

First stage.

Second stage.

Stages la! What else??

Proud owner of this card. =)

Pizza. =)

Alright.. The first performer was TECHUNG from Tibet.

It was quite alright.. He sings well, got all of us singing AAAEEEEE (I forgot what it means in Tibet, but in Hokkien, it means CAN ) XD

Though it may seem like.. "ahhhssss" "ooohhhhss" "eeeeeehhhsss" and such to those who are there for the wrong purposes of actually enjoying the performance, it's actually really good.

If you're into folk or heritage music, you'll definitely love him. Better than Kitaro, my mom said.

I still love Kitaro. =)

Then, it was BALFA TUOJOURS from USA.

If you're a fan of country music or the blues and such, you'll probably love this band.

They even had one song where two guys played one violin at the same time.. I don't really know how to explain... I recorded it. Ask me if you wanna watch.. IT WAS AWESOME..

It got me clapping my hands till it hurt and turn red.

Can't blame me, one of the song, Watermelon was AWESOME.

They're good... but they were actually a replacement of TEADA, the Irish Quintet. =(

Deepak came after that.. He got lost in the jungle before that. XD (Just kidding boozie.. I won't be mean.. =p)

HE.. DRANK.. BEER.. there..
He has no right to call me boozie now.. =p
It was fun "stalking him" and messaging nonsensical stuff.. XD XD

Moving on, the LO COR DE LA PLANA from France,

They claim to sing love songs.. and such.. well, it's in French.. so I don't really know about the part about them singing love songs..

This dynamic all-male sextet really knows how to make good music with only instruments like a board, (for tapping their feet on), tamborines and such..

I was amazed at how good a guy was playing some sort of instrument which looks a bit like tamborines..

I mean come on.. I was clapping along with the beat, moving my arms along to music which lyrics I don't even understand.. It was AWESOME!!!

Deepak asked me to join the rest and to "boogie with the beat" but my mom said if I went, she will leave without me. XD.. I was hot and sticky anyways..

At the end of their performance, they sang a song wishing Merry Christmas. -.- Everyone laughed.

Alright, then, it was AFENGINN from Denmark.

First impression?

That dude in pink has nice hair. XD

Then? I feel in love with the clarinet player and the violinist.

It was.. again... AWESOME!

And they taught us.. "OOMPPAAH!" *does hand action thingy* (to which Deepak replies "LOOMPA" to)

Kim Nyberg, the one playing the mandolin.. AWESOMEEEEEE

The bass player, quite an old guy.. you'll be amazed at how good it is.. once again, AWESOMEEEE

And there was a song where they slowly played and progressed till it was really really er.. "fast and upbeat"?.. AWESSSSOOOMMEEEEE!!!!!

Lastly, it was KENGE KENGE from Kenya.

My dad and I was actually looking forward to it since it's from Africa and it's bound to be.. once again, AWESOMEEEEEE..

But it wasn't that all great.. to us.. somehow..

I don't know about the rest..

We left shortly after that..

Missed the finale.. but oh well..

IT WAS.. AWESOMMEEEEEEEEEE TO THE AWESOMEEEST TIMES AWESOMMMEEEE..

XD. Are you jealous yet Joshua? =P

Regret you didn't go?

Regret that you should've went?

XD

I want their CDs!!!
